A Taste of France comes to Hotel d’Urville Brasserie Restaurant
- d’Urville Brasserie Restaurant is inspired by its French connection and revamps their menu and dining experience.
- Introducing new dishes and concept, as the d’Urville team work to bring a slice of France to Marlborough.
Hotel d’Urville’s award winning Restaurant is synonymous with fantastic cuisine and service which has continued to bring people through their doors and build a dedicated following.
Lead by Executive Chef Maree Connolly, the team at d’Urville’s are constantly exploring new and exciting approaches to dining. They have taken inspiration from their namesake, French explorer Jules Dumont d'Urville who discovered d’Urville Island in 1827, and Maree’s classic French training to create the region’s first true French Brasserie.
“We want to bring something new to Marlborough and give our guests delicious and simple food in a relaxed environment. French food has always been a passion of mine and our menu will feature some classics which are designed to be shared or order individually”, says Maree Connolly. “It’s going to be exceptional and accessible for everyone”.
The menu’s dishes will continue to feature regional, seasonal ingredients which will be turned into authentic mouth-watering French cuisine, including Entrecote con Pomme Frites et Sauce Béarnaise (Steak and fries with Béarnaise Sauce), Pork Rillettes, Tartare, Braised Lapin (Rabbit), Pomme Dauphinoise, Crème Brulee and French Cheeses.
The new menu will be launched on Wednesday 20 November and is an exciting new chapter for the Hotel and Restaurant.
