By ferry

The Interislander provides daily ferry services across Cook Strait linking New Zealand’s North and South Islands. The ferries leave from Wellington and berth at Picton about X kilometres North-east of Blenheim. The ferries carry passengers and vehicles and the journey takes about 3 hours.

By air

Air New Zealand and Origin Pacific operate flights to Marlborough Airport outside Blenheim. Soundsair operates daily flights between Wellington and Picton Airport.

Approximate flying times:

  • From Wellington – 25 minutes
  • From Christchurch – 50 minutes

We can arrange transfers between Marlborough Airport and the hotel.
The cost is $30 per person.

By car

Approximate travelling times:

  • From Picton - 25 minutes
  • From Nelson - 2 hours

Directions

From Christchurch (driving north), on arrival in Blenheim:

  • Proceed straight through two roundabouts
  • Take second right into Queen St
  • Hotel is 100 metres on the left

From Picton(ferry from Wellington):

  • Enter Blenheim via old span bridge and proceed along Grove Road
  • Turn right into Main St at the 3rd roundabout
  • Drive straight through the next roundabout
  • Take the second right into Queen St
  • Hotel is 100 metres on the left

From Nelson and Malborough Airport (driving east to Blenheim):

  • Enter Blenheim on State Highway 6
  • Turn right 200 metres past the "Fresh Choice Supermarket" (following the sign to "Town Centre")
  • Proceed into town, straight through the roundabout
  • Take first right into Queen St
  • The hotel is 300 metres on the right
